The Blarney Irish Pub

Guinness is an Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James’s Gate brewery in the capital city of Dublin, Ireland.

Guinness, produced by the British Diageo beverages company, is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide. It is brewed in almost 50 countries and is available in over 120.

Guinness’ ‘burnt’ flavor derives from malted barley and roasted unmalted barley which is a relatively modern development.

Survival against the odds, the courage to follow your own path, the determination to never give up, the ability to find solutions where others only see problems and a sense of what’s important in life – these are the characteristics that for over 300 years have made Smithwick’s Ireland’s favorite brewer of ales.

Smithwick’s Irish Ales. Brewed with our passion, harvested from our land and seasoned by our history.

Irish made since 1710.

The original George brewed his beer in 1864 for one simple reason, to drink and enjoy with friends.

This is a full-bodied beer with medium carbonation. Well-balanced with slight lingering citrus rind and subtle sweetness.

Strongbow is a dry cider produced by H. P. Bulmer in England since 1962.

The aroma is of course of apples, however not overbearingly so or to the exclusion of more subtle scents behind it.

Strongbow pours a clear yellow golden color. Light sweetness on the nose with some light crisp apple-like notes, follows onto the palate. Light bodied and finishes dry.

Harp Lager is an Irish lager created in 1960 by Guinness in its Great Northern Brewery, Dundalk. It is a major lager brand throughout most of Ulster, but is a minor lager brand in the rest of Ireland.

Harp is a rich, golden pilsner style lager which has an aroma filled with mild hop bitterness and subtle malts.

Its profile is characterized by this hop bitterness along with faint hints of citrus fruits. A slight malty sweetness in the finish leads to an overall balanced brew with a refreshing, hoppy taste.

Newcastle Brown Ale is a brown ale, originally produced in Newcastle upon Tyne, but now brewed by Heineken at the Zoeterwoude Brewery in the Netherlands.

Newcastle pours a clear, deep, dark mahogany coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of toasted, bready, caramel malt and a distinct nuttiness, with a hint of brown sugar.

Taste follows the nose, being dominated by toasted, bready, caramel malt, although there are some light floral, herbal hops in there somewhere as well, with notes of roasted nuts, brown sugar, corn and a mild diacetyl butteriness.

Kilkenny is a nitrogenated Irish cream ale from the makers of Guinness, which originated in Kilkenny, Ireland.

Kilkenny has a dark brown color that brightens into a reddish gold color without a long aftertaste. It’s very smooth and easily drinkable, with some small bitterness and not too hoppy.

Angry Orchard is a hard cider company located near Walden, New York, United States, owned by the Boston Beer Company. It makes hard cider using apples from Europe and the United States.

This crisp and refreshing cider mixes the sweetness of the apples with a subtle dryness for a balanced cider taste. The fresh apple aroma and slightly sweet, ripe apple flavor make this cider hard to resist.
